Cannobio is the first Italian town after crossing the border from Brissago (Madonna di Ponte). The colorful lakeside market is well-known among tourists. It features a variety of food items: local and regional cheeses, sausages, fresh fish from Lake Maggiore, a wide selection of bread, seasonal vegetables and fruits. Flowers are also a common sight at the market.
